Riding
boots are typically higher on the leg than regular cowboy riding boots. They are
sometimes called an English Riding Boot, a Field Boot, as well as Long Riding
Boots. You can get them made from leather or from breathable synthetic
materials. Typically they easier to clean if they are not leather. You can
just hose them down and wipe them dry. You may want to have a pair of
both synthetic riding boots as well as leather riding boots.
